For the past seven years, I have been documenting women in the familial space, bearing witness to their profound journey from maiden to mother. I am captivated by the way women exist in liminality—floating between two worlds during pregnancy, suspended in a state of becoming. Having not experienced this myself, I find it enthralling to observe, to pause time for just a moment, and to create images that honor the raw, transient, and powerful essence of motherhood.
Natural light, the natural world, and human connection weave their way through my work, shaping a visual language that feels both painterly and deeply documentary. There is a quiet magic in the way light moves across skin, in the way hands instinctively cradle a growing life, in the fleeting in-between moments that so often go unnoticed. My approach is intuitive, intimate, and deeply personal—an invitation for you to see yourself through my eyes.
